(Nashville, Tenn) April 18, 2011—Music icon Steven Curtis Chapman finished his highly successful Canadian tour last week after performing in front of sold out crowds across the country. This was Chapman’s first time touring in Canada in nearly 15 years where they welcomed his intimate production of An Evening with Steven Curtis Chapman with open arms.
Audiences were entertained as Chapman performed some of the new arrangements of some of his biggest hits re-imagined and re-recorded as part of his upcoming fall album release. Chapman has just unveiled one of the brand new songs penned for the album to radio, the debut single from the project, “Do Everything” goes for adds May 6th. Attendees also heard the sounds of Caleb, the emerging band featuring Chapman’s two sons Caleb and Will, in addition to the vocal talents of award-winning artist Geoff Moore.
After wrapping up his spring tour, Chapman heads back to Nashville to put the finishing touches on his new album and also prepare for his fall tour presented by Show Hope. Sharing the stage with Chapman will be singer/songwriter Andrew Peterson and Sparrow Records’ Josh Wilson.
